I was looking for Halo mods, and I found this site and saw the awesome custom levels like Quagmire and Snake's Room. So I came to the forum to try to learn.

hmmm it was about June of last year. I was playing Halo Trial and kept seeing modded servers. I asked how to make mods and I came here registered as a different name that I had at MOST 1 post. Then when I got Halo PC I used Rallos as my online name and decided to register here with that name as well.

I ended up telling people where to find them once. I discovered them myself when I first played the cliff mod.

I am an old geezer now aren't I? ._.

*insert flashback sequence*
I began playing halo back in 8th grade. It began there. In the summer before my freshman year of hs (2003), I began to read HBO and saw hack vids by BOLL and others. I came to Halomods.com and have been here ever since.
*end gooey flashback sequence*

I got Halo PC for christmas the year it came out. After about 3 months of playing and mastering I heard about this site from a friend and joined. March 22, 2004... 3 days after Phenomena (We were meant to be :D ) which was also 10 days after my birthday. I had modded in other games before but not as much as Halo. I don't know why I'm still here, probably because I'm more interested in programming and skinning now but still.

Google is how I came across this site.
I registered as maca_S and was user 511. I started modding when my friend Richie showed me hack videos made by BOLL (like gmp).
I remember one video called "Hack Halo" that amazed me and that got me into modding more.
Ever since I joined I've been active :D.

I joined some modded servers and went looking for some mods. Googled "halo mods" and this site came up. Registered and was churning out mods within a week.

Despite the sheer number I've made, I only ever released a few skins, models, a beta and one full mod... But I got another one coming soon. Been working on it for AGES.

I bought Halo PC the week it came out. But that's ancient history. I never actually spent much time playing multiplayer untill a couple years ago when I met a guy witht he gamertag of Hellion. He wanted to know if I'd help him and a couple of his friends start up a small clan. I said sure and we started to play together. One day he sent me a yahoo message to check out this site. I registered and leached the mods for a while before actually starting to post. I've only ever released one thing (a pair of flag skins). But just poking around is my thing. I've tried a bit of modeling with 3dsmax and skinning with photoshop (my 'big' off-and-on project right now is giving everybody skulls for heads using a modified oddball skin and remodeled heads) and playing with projectile swaps. I've never really released anything since all I've really done is poke around and making a .ppf because I figured out how to make the shotgun fire plasma nades really isn't worth it.
