There are no evelopes from other bones intersecting with any of the helmet vertexs I see though. and all teh helmet vertexs move with the helmet just the jaw area seems to drag along but it moves just not all the way so the helmet stays in shape.

Did you have the head in two different sections (say, upper and lower) while rigging it? Make sure the entire head is connected to the same bone.

Ctrl+V is the clone hot-key if I remember correctly.

And to bring a gun in the scene, you can do another File->Import, or if you have the gun in another .max you can do a File->Merge.

Yeah I think the head is 2 different parts look in this picture. I belive these are the different top and bottem of the head. So how would I make the entire head then connected to the same bone?

i never liked the create biped for bones, you cant select individual verticies.

If you're using the physique modifier select link, then select the head. In the mod specs on the right there should be something that says "deformable" and "rigid" check rigid and uncheck deformable. That should fix your dragging face...
