Weird problems with new models

Weird problems with new models

Okay I made a new model for the magnum and I got it ingame but for some reason when I got really close to my new model like this huge thing would come out of it like it was being massivly distorted. Where did I go wrong.

EDIT: k i found out was was wrong. I imported my new magnum model over top the sentinel beam and it didnt give me that distortion. The only difference between the magnum and the sentinel beam is the files. The magnum only has [0][1][3] as opposed to the sentinels [0][0][0], [0][0][2], [0][0][3] and [0][0][4] files. How would i make my new magnum model use 4 modles instead of 3?
