The purpose of this thread was to stop flooding MonoxideC's thread with some off-topic and just some general redundant crap. Here you go. How about we start off by asking someone to make a server to host the mod? Any volunteers with a good connection?

Nice, maybe you should post your IP or something? Or can you? And I say if we do this, let's get used to flying the Pelican around first, let's not actually play for a while, as in no killing.

If anyone has ever played the MMOFPS Planetside, the Galaxy is a good example of squad co-ordination...gal driver counts to 3, players hot drop on base roof, gal driver flies about 10 kilo away, players hack base, gal driver comes back for pick up.

Then again...that ignores the mass battle for 15 minutes before the hack is complete.

Never played it but I hope people that play Halo think more strategically when this mod comes out, unlike the common BF1942 player who just runs for a plane and doesn't wait up for you. I like teamplay games where everyone plays together but it seems like everyone wants to be a god damn hero.

omg your so right, i was playing bf one time and we all this plan figure we were gonna get in the planes and take out all there zeros with a huge bomb run...everyone just hopped in the plane and flew away after we repeatedly said "WAIT FOR A GUNNER" . . . chances are it will be "wait for a darn side seater!" and they fly off in the pelican

What if the "gun" on the pelican (if there is one) can be fired from the drivers seat? Then the driver wouldn't need to wait for a gunner. Of course, there will be those that get in the pelican and then just fly off in it without picking anyone up, but hopefully they will stay off the good servers.

And speaking of servers, won't HaloMods be hosting this on their dedicated server once it comes out?

ok the pelican doesnt have a weopon....and halomods will probably host a server for a little bit, it probably wont be out the minute the pelican comes out though

OK, anyone who is "daring" enough to try this:on AOTCR take the Pelican's meta offset and switch it with the Shade so you have Pelicans instead of Shades. Then, of course, switch the Pelican's driver seat name to "W-driver" and then when you get in click left-click(fire) and you'll see that it shoots plasma backwards.

And as for the pelican weapon thing, notice I said "if" it has a weapon. Kamatzu was talking as if it was a fact or something.

um...anyway if you name the pelican GT-gunner in AoTCR and replace the shades with it grunts will get in it and fly around and stuff, there heads poke out. A friend showd me that..how odd.
