Need help with implimenting 3rd person camera into my mod
I'm making a mod that will eventaully have a new storyline with the player's character a UNSC Marine, and it'll be bundled with a lot of simple tutorials showing exactly how I did everything.
I need to know where I should be working to impliment a 3rd person camera that is part of the mod, not a third party program, and does not need to be activated or adjusted ingame.
Any help would be much apreciated.
Edit: it also appears the 3rd person hack by bitterbanana and Racer_S was causing an exception error in my mod.

Banana's hack uses (I think) the debug camera.
Maybe I can set some kind of script on startup to activate the debug camera and move it to the correct position to be in 3rd person.
Although the trak controls look like they're the thing that does the thing with the camera... thing, they're all blank (lousy plugins ; )
I'll mess around with them to see what happens however.
Edit: trak didn't do anything, I set all variables for all the control points for small biped trak to 2 and there was no difference
I think I should go with my startup script thing idea, basically something that does what the banana hack does, except not user modifyable ingame and doesn't require an additional program.
Edit2: I'm not going to check this because it's nearly 0400 and I have to work tomorrow but I may be goddamn retarded.
Is the dev camera even in HaloPC? or is it just CE? I don't mean is the ability to access it via console commands but the actual thing itself.
Edit3: ok, so, I read like the first 8 pages and the last page of banana's hack thread. He said he'd released a tutorial and such, do you guys have it? Otherwise I'll e-mail him (if the e-mail on his site still works)
I'm going to sleep.
