What's wrong with my level?

If you need a picture I can link one, but when I try to compile my level it says:
### ERROR couldn't add surface to geometry
### ERROR failed to build collision geometry
### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.

what does it say above that, cuase usually it will say why it cant do that

Ok I just figured out the importing error and the failing to build the collision are both errors caused by the other error, but when I checked the HEK tutorial for errors and solutions it didn't list that, so what is the error, "couldn't add surface to geometry"?
