Those with no Photoshop

I put this here cuz this is really the only place i could (Utilities section 4 Admins only). This tool will let u convert .dds to a .bmp, then back again. Hope this helps Any1!!! http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/do ... convim.zip

Does it create MipMaps? If it doesn't, when you back away from the texture in Halo, it will turn black.

Now here's a minor problem... This problem doesn't export in DX2 or DX3... Does this program have a plugin that can support the ability to export in dx2 / dx3, or can you suggest another free program?

Hey guys... sry. Anyways. For this to work you need the DLLs so if u didnt DL those and it doesnt work, download them. Any other problems i have no clue cuz it worked for me afta I installed those. On the Left select where the file is u want to convert and where the destination of that file is. select in the drop down menu wat type of file ur going to convert so say ur going to convert the a dds, u would select DirectDrawSurfaces (dds). then select the dds u want to convert and click on it. then go to the center and select Windows Bitmap. then on the right choose the destination of where u want it to go. and press convert in the center. To convert back just reverse everything basicly.

P.S. Gren, if u read these. It might be helpful 4 sum ppl if this were to go on the front page scince sum ppl dont usually go through the DLs forum and to reduce the questions "Where do i get photoshop" and "I dont have photoshop. So how can i skin". just an Idea
