Bitmap internalizer Question

Bitmap internalizer Question

If I used the bitmap internalizer, could I extract a texture, edit it, and put it back in without using any of the shared maps? Could I ftp it back to my xbox without using any of the shared maps.

even if you internalize it, your still gonna need the shared maps to load everything else

Well, I tried to edit the warthog_standard twice and it wouldn't work in game.
I put coagulation in the same folder as mainmenu and both 'shared' files. Opened it in ADI, extracted to bitmap, opened it in photoshop, edited it, saved it as the same file type and that other thing(DXT3), reinjected, Signed all four files and ftped them back to the xbox. Still no luck. I did all of this without internalizing.
