System Link Question

Sorta new to this modding stuff, and had a question about system linking. I play halo 2 alot with friends, and wanted to smoke them a couple games by increasing my firepower and other stuff that they wouldnt be able to notice right away. My question was that i couldnt get my mods to work only for my xbox, and not on every one elses. If i was host, everything would work for every, and if not host, it would just be like regular. I am using serenity and insolence, so if anyone could maybe shed some light on how i can make the mod work on my xbox and not other peopples, pz reply.

as long as your host Any change u make to the weapons affect u and everyone else yet if lets say billy is on his own xbox just like charlie its normal for them when THEY kill each other, yet When u shoot them or they shoot u they feel the effects of your mod as do u so yeh that pretty much sums it up

So, what you are saying is there is no way for my xbox to be the only xbox that can shoot faster and harder?

there is a way i think, how to make the mods for you, Oh yeah its not being host but then some mods wont work

I dont mean to sound picky, but you dont happen to know which mods woud and would not work (aka, gun strength, speed of master chief, sword lock on range). I can defintly just do trial and error, but if any one might know a few things about this, would just save me a little bit of time. thanks in advance...

absolutly no clue its all depends on how you set them up i think, as for that i have no clue if there is a certain setting you need or anything like that

If you are not host of the game your mods will work for you AND ONLY YOU. If you are host some mods will work for them. Like flying a warthog from the passenger seat will work for both you and them if you are host. If the game is realllly laggy like on Xlink Kai then people that are playing when you are hosting can run fast but that wont happen in syslink there would be no way to accheive that much lag. So to sum it up if you are not host your mods work for you. If you are host mods work for and some will work for other people on another xbox.
