true, but i didnt even realize the emblems until i saw this thread after it was in 3 or 4 pages.

This is the liveliest thread I've seen for a while, especially as there's been no flaming.

The emblems themselves are not offensive in nature. My issue is that no one asked if I wanted one..... and the more perceptive among you may be starting to get the impression that I dont.

But If I'm stuck with it.... so be it. but dont be all trying to jump on my bandwagon when the negative ones start getting handed out.....

Personally me i think the badges are a waste of time because people are just going to complain bc they dont have em and ive seen shadow with like at least 14 badges some people get jealous

lol umm but it does make a differance bc swhen i look @ it im like holy $^*# that looks so sweet he sould be like a god or like a really good kid @ halomods if anyone should have at least like 5 it should be KETCHUP lolbecaseu he posts alot here and especially in the sigs an avatars section but he posts other placces to but im jus saying

I am really not flaming here, but can you please take an English class. Spelling mistakes sometimes are fine, but that was all one sentance. Please learn how to type. I agree though, the emblems just make others jealous.

I dont like the badges.

They make people look great, and people who have badges, sometimes think that the people who dont have badges are just retarded people, or dont think them highly.

No offence to anyone who has badges, but I bet you there is atleast 5 people, who think they are better than others becuase of badges.

So I think this is a dumb mod, and should never be used in a community forum, except maybe for a military school, or an academy, or any other place, that uses badges in real life.

Just my comments.

Since I cannot edit my post, I am going to make a new one.

Everyone knows Le_Loup, well he has no badges, but I think he is the greatest member at HaloMods.

When he responds, he doesnt flame, He always Gives good advice, and is just an overall great person.

So I think this mod doesnt really say anything about the person, sometimes it does, but mostly it doesnt.

If you don't have an emblem, don't feel bad. It's not like we can do anything about it...we don't control who has them, nor do we have any idea how to get them.

er, maybe ask the site owner.....

Personally I dont beleieve in the magic badge fairy coming by late at night etc....

Also I cant help but notice the members that sport 2 or 3 rows or badges. And I think this will prove to be a very negative thing on the files forum, it seems to be a very backhanded way of raising profiles without explanation.

But at least I'm no longer the only one prepared to voice my opposition, even if I am still the only one trying to have a badge removed.

To be honest I really dont care how many badges someone else has, I just dont want any....

I say it for the umpteenth time: The admins don't really have anything to do with this. Sure, one of them installed it, but they don't know anything about it. Even the people that made it don't know much about it, they only know as much as they need to know in order for the system to work.

As for who gives them out... people. I have no idea who though

headed that when you read your own post, you look at your emblems and
go "WTF those are teh GAY! GIT ZEM OFF!!!"
