Skinning Master Cheif is so IN. ~Help please~
I just finished modding good ol' lockout, and i just wanted to add some spice to MC. At first i wanted to add an all black marine, but i couldnt figure it out, or find a good tut, unless someone can help?? Instead, I decided to just make master cheif all black, (Nothing Fancy). I injected my dds file and it was succesful but the skin is not on my master chief? Whats the deal. Please Help! Also if someone could get my black ops/marine figure in the game and it works i will gladly give you a 2 month free subscripition code to XBL.

ok first of all what r u using to make the new texture i highly reccomend paint shop pro because its easier to make custom swatches
anyway, what to do is open hmt, open bitmaps, click on characters/cyborg/bitmaps/cyborg and the current texture should come up at the right (tag edtitor window)
click on save texture and save wherever u want (i prefer desktop) then make a copy of the texture and paste it in the same place (in case you want to inject the old texture). Then open the copy or the original in paint shop pro/photoshop/whatever (u need the dds plugin it should be somewhere on this forum). Then click on the brush icon or whatever it uses to paint and if your lazy like me, just color the entire window black/other color, or you could use the magic wand tool and edit certain parts or him. when your done, save the texture when that window comes up don't edit anything just press save. then go back to hmt, go to bitmaps, click on characters/cyborg/bitmaps/cyborg, and press inject texture. click on desktop on the pulldown menu, then click on whatever the texture is saved under. it might say this file is too big or something like that just press ok it will say update succesful press ok then save and play.
edit: oh right the whole marine thing umm idk not really sure but try saving that as a dds file and injecting it idk
