Another Question Bout Video Tutorials.....HELP!!!
Hi, I was wondering if any1 could help me with wat happens in the vid tutorials
Life is a waterfall, we drink from the river then we turn around and put up our walls.
Well, there are a few ways to do this.
I know of 2:
(This is how to get to the Halo Custom Edition root directory)
1. You should be at your defult directory path in the command prompt, now
type in the directory where HaloCE is installed for you. Example:
"cd C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition"
WITHOUT THE QUOTES!! (This was the path were I chose to install Halo and HaloCE. Type in the path where yours is. Mine is the defult path.)
This is the first way I found out how to do it.
2. THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-O.k. Find the command promt(Not the shortcut, the application).
-Copy it, and paste it in your Halo Custom Edition root directory.
-Make a shortcut of this new copy and paste it on your desktop(I put it in my taskbar after I did this because I like it like that).
This took me a few trys to get because I had the wrong idea so if option number two doesn't work for you ask me and I'll see what I can do.
Hope this helps!!
*Also you might want to change the title of the post to something like "Help with command promt" or "Navigating to HaloCE directory with command prompt" because if other people have this problem they can find the answer easier.*
