I think its kinda both... like in turf, i made a containment gate spawn in the street using the coordinates and it was up in the sky elsewhere.
And yeah the rotation was messed up, but im just happy that dark matter was even released, i mean these are small problems that shouldnt hinder the production of more mods very much anyway. :)

The z is ever so slightly high, and x and y seem could. and im not sure wut but i am positive that at least one of the roll, pich, or yaw is massivly off

vehc are vurtually perfect as far as i can tell........
how the f'k is this possible?? no clue.........

But as far as doorm4ns method goes if it is at all possible to use the block placing with vehc instead of itemc it makes a easy alternative with dark matter.........

and as for why i am so interesting in this being fixed......

guys i can tell u exactly why

i have been workign with containment gates for so long
about 4 months

well, if u havnt noticed, the containment gate on the map containment spawns as the pitch, roll, and yaw 0,0, and 0

0,0, and 0 would mean thats default and its at an angle, the reason it spawns all weird is because it spawns at an angle

i could be wrong but im pretty sure thats why


roll
pitch
yaw

for a flat containment gate

put this

0
-0.5
0



i have many more coords but still need some testings so when i get this all down i will release some kind of info file

lol doorm4n, block modding isnt about the stupid containment gate.....

I dont think so many people would be as stupid to make this acusation without looking into it first.......

The ypr is of in dark matter, and it doesnt just apply to the containment gate........ if u look at br, swords, or anything u bring in with insolence it ypr will off to some extent.

just one thing wen u open headlong in darkmatter the bus is rotated through the ground :?
and wen u open cyclotron(Ivory Tower) the benches are through the floor also maybe people can work on this and fint out why :)

doorm4n, could you tell me the yaw, pitch, roll for a containment gate to be standing flat sideways? like this:

I think you may be right about the containment gate being odd since at 0,0,0 its at an angle

stealthy, it is odd in a way, but the reason i tihnk they moddeled it like that is because it have olny one angel it need to be at.

Its no expeption though.....


I tested the containment gat on zanzi..... it seems to appear, but if its coll is touching anything it flashes rarly where u can see it and coll doesnt work at all....

If it isnt touvhing anything coll works but still flahes somtimes....

Im not sure if this is olny cuz its so big or w/e

its more than a floor, its an underground arena :wink:

PS, may seem newbish but this was before any great programs like darkmatter and coord finder were out(coord finder was out but didnt support lockout)

pitch needs to be -0.5 and everything else at 0
