Make the warthog transparent?

How do i do this???!! It might be a noob question but i am trying to get stuff for my new upcoming 1st mod, "Plasma Gulch"

get HMT if u don't have it. swap the hogs bitmap to those of a cryo something. look for it, it says cryo something i can't remember

No, don't swap with cryo, swap with the invisible mc bitmap, but that makes it like completely invisible..

I don't know if it works, but extract the skin, open it in photoshop and edit it's transparency.
Again, I do not know if it works, it's only a suggestion.
