Ok, I love conversions of games and I have started modding for Halo, I have Milkshape, Photoshop 7, SparkEdit and Halo Modding Tools. I have made a basic shape of a weapon on Milkshape and I have modded the odd file in Halo Modding Tools i.e Changing Speed of warthog, pistol fires shells etc. But this is nothing compared to adding new veh and skinning properally. I don't have a clue how to code and I have heard thats how you add new vehicles.
Can someone tell me how to progress and how to do this becuase I want to make a conversion and add new veh and weapons?
Help?

Re: Modding, New Veh and Skinning
You can't add new vehicles and weapons yet until the Halo Editing Kit comes out. For skinning, you need a .dds importer for Photoshop, you can google for it. Then you go into HMT, go under Bitmaps, which should have about 448 bitmaps there, click on one, click export or something(haven't done it in awhile) then open it under .dds in Photoshop, and edit.AnarKy wrote:Ok, I love conversions of games and I have started modding for Halo, I have Milkshape, Photoshop 7, SparkEdit and Halo Modding Tools. Note: It won't be a living replica of whatever you imported, it will be jumbled up.
