Applying Mods to Xbox without FTP?

Post by gundamzuki »

Ok, say I want to mod a map for Halo 2, but don't want to go through all the hasle of FTPing my box, can I just copy my disk to my computer, apply the .ppf and burn a new disk?

I get the feeling I'm going to be told to go to xbox scene for this one.

I dont think that would work unless u got a hold of some DVD9's and u have a burner that supports DVD9 (9 gigs)

why would u do that when ftp is so easy, u can just use ie to ftp

That IS possible but it's way inefficient. That would take forever. Buring and clearing the disc over and over and over.. FTP is your best bet.

Has to be a DVD. Some drives may read CD-RW's but DVD's are much more reliable.
