make a cylinder longer than the box but the same radius as the hole u want put it through the box, then above the list for ur objects there is a pull down menu, pull that down and go to compound objects then click boolean, go down to subtract b -a while selected on the cylinder then hit pick operand b and then click on the box and it should just cut it out. if u need any help just ask.

Can't you convert it to editable poly then use the line cut feature, then delete the face. Like cut the lines for a door in. Then click on faces. Then selected the door and delete that face. Then delete the extra lines.

Did that make any sense? :?:

P.S. Xzzy made a tutorial for making buildings. It is for gmax but should be pretty correct. Linky

yes but it would have enough faces for the circle first, unless u had ALOT of faces on the box and the cut tool isnt always relyable on where u actually want the cut done, this way is very fast and easy and it looks good (most of the time) some times ull run into holes most of the time can be fixed with the cap hole modifier but again not always.

that tuts pretty good for begginers, there are alot more things begginers need to know but thats a good start.
