on topic with the first post in this thread, I get really pissed at stupid censorship.
Some stuff, like swearing and nudity and stuff like that I can understand, but other stuff just bugs me.
Like the exchange of demolitions information. If I want to learn how to make a bomb, I want to be able to learn. I can understand the protection of state and military secrets, but what about pipe bombs, crater makers and the like? If people are going to kill each other, they're going to kill each other and no amount of information controll will stop that. If you take away one tool they'll simply use another.
I'm not saying explosives should be readilly available to buy in stores, but why can't I check out a book from the library on the subject?
Ok, maybe someone (or a lot of people for that matter) would end up blowing themselves up, but what's one less stupid person in the world?
And before any of the mods/admins/arbiters gets after me, I still appologise for posting those instructions. I forgot at the time that the site itself can get in trouble and not just the person (me) who posted it.
If anybody want to know though, just IM or e-mail me. No pm's. keep it off this site.

Well, the basics are all you need really. anything else just takes a little imagination.
That and creating an explosive device is easy. Getting it to go off at exactly the right time is the tricky part.
And don't worry, it'd take a lot for me to want to produce stuff like that. Say an invasion of my country or civil war or something. It's still nice to know though.
Oh, and I'm 22. not exactly your kid, though I will freely admit that while I will always grow older, I may occasionally refuse to grow up.

Wanna know what makes me mad? 
People that join my server and get their ass kicked by me and then they think I am cheating and they leave... that pisses me off
Also people that I kill then they join my team so I can't kill them but they try to distract me so I won't kill their "former" team mate...

Another rant!
Short one though. I was just reading over a FAQ on www.bungie.net concerning cheating. All well and good. It's nice they're doing stuff about it. I was great with it right up untill the last question.

The bolded part is what got to me. Well, isn't THAT just a big F*** YOU to the whole modding community! I have a problem with cheaters. I think any honest player does. But to completely condemn a whole section of your most devout fanbase seems just stupid. By contrast, look at how HL2 handles the modding community. They openly support it. Granted Halo CE and the HEK was a nice nod to the modding community, but why the sudden dump with Halo 2?Q
My friends and I want to try out some new modified content we got from a friend. It's ok to do this as long as we only play custom games, right?

No. Using hacked or modified content of any sort, whether it's a custom or matchmade game, will result in you getting banned. We do not condone anyone tampering with the actual game that we shipped and doing so is a sure fire way to get banned. Attemping to use hacked Xboxes on Live is also grounds for having your entire gamertag permanently canceled. Also please note, that due to the "Live Aware" nature of Halo 2, you could get banned even for using these files over system link, if one of your boxes is still attached to the internet. The best thing to do is just steer clear of any of these hacked files and stick to the game that we intended for you to play.

Well, I hate to openly disagree with someone, especially one of the staff, but I feel you're up for debate on that stance, Waverunner.
Oh, and I think your post violates the "don't abuse annoying colors" rule.
This was the first post in this thread. I interperated this to mean that if you've got a rant to rant about, do it here instead of starting a new thread or spamming someone elses. By nature this is going to be disorganized because everone will be ranting about whatever bugs them at the time. Locking the thead for being disorganized would be like talking to someone and then getting mad at them for replying.
