Hey does anyone know how or if you can play music through the computer when playing Halo?

I think it's possible...all you would do is find a specific BG theme or effect that is looped throughout the level, replace it with another music thing as the same type, and it should work (works with FFXI at least).

But, why don't you just listen on a CD player and turn down the volume?

Or maybe you can do what I do Put Music Match Jukebox on with some or my songs or Itunes or anything that plays music videos or music you may have play it first then Fire up Halo it works on my comp.

yeah but what would be cool is that every1 else can hear his music in Multiplayer, that would be cool! At least for me

well first off why the hell wouldnt music playin on ur computer work if u did that and them opened halo. i usaly just open win amp and then play

secondly if u want everyone to hear it u would have to give everyoen ur moded file.

Well I wasn't sure if Halo's sounds would mess up the music or block it out all together. That's all.

I play music in the background everytime I play Halo mp. I use iTunes and turn the volume down to about half, that way I can adjust Halo's volume in-game to get it just right. But yes it will work fine.

yea i turn my winamp music to this certin loudness kinda quite so i can hear it still then i turn off halo music but keep halos sounds so i an hear hogs and stuff comin at me fine and stuff heh
