Blitzkrieg Export Failure 3ds max 7

Post by ShadowSpy »

Ok, I got a level on 3ds max 7 but when I export it says " There are no actors to export" then I click ok, because that is the only button there, then it says "export module failure" and the window closes. What am I doing wrong?
Im trying to export a level as a .jms extension. Please help thanks. :D

BTW: I installed the four .dll s but when I pasted them into the folder it says that one of them is being used by another program but strangely all programs are closed. And i put the .dle in std plugins folder.

are you linking the model to a frame box?

Yes, but this is what happened. I tryed connecting the flag bases to the frame first so i clicked and dragged but then the line skips to the middle of the level (and not the base) and then i drag it from there, this happens to both bases. So i delete the bases because I don't really need them and then click the level and drag it to the frame to coneect. Then I export and still get the same error. Should I first click on the frame and drag it to the level to connect? Or when I export should I first select the frame or leve before exportingl?

I did and now im getting the same error, is something wrong with my 3ds max 7? I just deleted the bases and clicked on link clicked on my level model and dragged it to the frame. Then I press h and clcked show subtree and the level model is under the frame (I think that means its attached). Then I export and same problem!!! Do i have to name the objects anything specific?

no you dont need to name it specifically. something is wronk in your model. in your object list how many objects are there? there should be a frame box and one model box. a total of 2 objects in total
