Nothing like Halo Machinima Companion, which is great and all.
This is actually a bit more detailed, and I don't even know if it's possible. I inquired of it somewhere around here before but no one really took notice or really KNEW if it were possible, so I figure since I'm not even a modder yet, I might as well put out a req for those of you who may be able to figure this out.
As a machinima nerd, I am always looking for new things to make halo machinima better. The main one, is on-command speech. Meaning, having some way of triggering your models "speech tags" (? not sure what they're called), so that their mouths move. Not only would this make Elites in machinima pieces much more natural looking (I spent 5-6 hours making a 5-second movie with an elite moving his mouth since I had to shoot the damn thing billions of times to get the different mouth movements and then edit them together with little background differences), but also for other models if they decide to inject them. Marines, Miranda, the Sergeant... etc.
Having speech command would be a wonderful asset to the machinima community.
Second, is the actions that a lot of the characters in single player do. For instance, the marines dive out of the way of grenades, Elites roll away from them... they hurdle over boxes and violently shake when a plasma grenade is stuck to them. If it were possible to have these things in reserve, I as well as many others I'm sure, would be able to better their movies very much.
Anyway, that is my request... if it is even possible. I don't expect it anytime soon (if it IS possible), but perhaps this will catch someone's attention, and they will have it in the works one day.
Machinima Mod Request
for the grenade thing, im thinking you just need to find the script for it or if it is one of the tags things, im new to modding and stuff so i reallly dont know, its kool that u like machinima to, im thinking of starting one, except useing 3ds Max for moving and such, cause i want my spartans to slit the throats of the elites and break there necks, and you just cant do that in the game, but i need the mainmenu.map file so i can get the models and stuff off of the game, and i dont have anything to get it off of the disc
