Adding maps to mainmenu

I am trying to add maps to main menu. I modded lockout changed the hex to scenarios\multi\modlockout\modlockout and opened up dothalo. Opened up mainmenu.map i went to global/global and added it but everytime i go and play it. it brings me back to the main menu.
