ive skined a hog.. much fun looks nice... but it wont show up in the game
i already saved the dds from photoshop, and reinjected it into zanzibar, then encripted it... but its just looking normal.
i only changed the "objects\vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\warthog_standard" image... should i have changed more than just that one?
btw im not getting any errors its just not working...

of i wanyone is looking at the in the future,
how to skin a warthog:
1-open the desired map, select the image from the bitmap section
2-extract the bitmap to your desktop (or whereever)
3-edit the dds file with your desired program (photoshop cs 2 works fine) youll also need to get the plugin.... search....
4-save the file when your finished, if a nvidia thing comes up just press save towards the top
5-go back to the map and "inject" the new dds file... resign that map and go to the map that it says next to the word external and sign that one too.. if it says internal just sign the one you already have open...
6-delete everything on your x y and z drives (this is your cache)
7-ftp over the files you had to sign earlier
8-play :] itll take forever to load the first time. thats just because it has to put the cache back into place...
hope this helps someone

Error injecting in dothalo
Ok i followed that directly put a simple color change on the handle of BR
saved as, the nVidia popup came up.
i clicked the save towards the top, and just to make sure what it saved it as i looked and saw that it saved it as a dxt3 file
( i saved it over the other battle_rifle.dds)
opened the map i wanted (relic, opened [bitmap] battle_rifle/battle_rifle
injected bitmap and an error pops up and says "bitmap being injected must be dxt2 or dxt3"
can i only mod shared.map , or should i not save over the other battle_rifle.dds???
(IM USING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2)
thankyou
Please reply thankyou
