But I thought the PoA explosion was an effect, not a model.
Anyway, when I do the steps like 1-10, when I get to the CSV Raw Model List, the PoA explosion isn't on the list. Does anyone know how to use the PoA Explsion effect when a frag grenade explodes? Could you please explain how? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Re: PMI tutorial simplified and easier to follow: UPDATE!!!!
Dark Cloud wrote:when it asks if any new vertices had been added to the original BSP chuck, say yes, and select bloodgulch.vertices.new in the C:\PelicaninBG\BSPVerticesIndices folder.
26. When it asks about the same thing for the indices, choose the bloodgulch.indices.new file in that same folder.
27. When it asks if it should update the starting offset, click YES! .
everything i touch dies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's all it "asks"

Re: HMT: PMI Simplified (Updated)
Ok, 1. Do you have to make a new folder in C:\PelicaninBG\ called BSPVerticesIndices, Because I did... leading to 2. When I try to extract the BSP/Model Sections to the folder it comes up with an error saying: Illegal characters in path.. and then no files get extracted, any idea why or how to fix this?Dark Cloud wrote:12. After it's done extracting, go to Tools > Extract > BSP/Model Sections, and extract those to C:\PelicaninBG\BSPVerticesIndices.

Hello. Ive tried this thing a million times, each time facing some weird problem. Finally, I got through all the steps and when I got to Halo, it had an exception data majiggans goin on. I was trying to import one of those barricades like from longest in to sidewinder. Would that make the tutorial any different? And when (if) I finally do get this working what exactly is supposed to happen? Am I supposed to do something with Sparkedit? Should there just be some magic barricade in the middle of the level? I dont know what I should do to get it where I want. Or will the whole PSI thing work with barricades? Any responce would be greatly aprriciated. Oh, and my AIM name is drummerguy541 and I was the guy that IMed you today (August 15) while you were away. I didnt really get what the whole "IM me if you have problems" and "dont IM me because I wont respond or dont want to deal with it" thing meant. ...took me awhile to figure out that the latter was an update. You should get rid of the part that says IM me if you have any problems. Sorry to bother you. And thanks for takin the time to put up this post. its really helpful.
Any response would be greatly appriciated, Craig

I am having trouble with PMI. I can succesfully inject the wraith tank, but it will not work with anything else. It won't let me PMI AI's, or other vehicles. I can inject other weapons though easily and get it to snow too, but why does it not let me inject any AI's/other vehicles?
OK, I just looked at another tutorial that said to select SP -> MP button while rebuilding the map file, maybe you left that out.

Im using Halo PC Trial too. Can anyone help us out in regards to the 'Illegal Characters in path" error when we try to extract the BSP/Model sections?
