Zanzibar gate in another level(need a good moder to answer)

Zanzibar gate in another level(need a good moder to answer)

Ok im trying to get a working zanzibar gate in foundation this is what i have so far.
-brought over tha mach tag for the gate and the ctrl tag for the control panel
-then added chunks in the scnr tag to the mach and mach dependancy feflexise and made the gate spawn on the level
-then i added chunks to controls and control pallette and made the control pannel spawn
-then i added a chunk to device groups and linked the control panel to the gate
-everything was linked up like it was in zanzibar to i resinged the map and ftp'd it to my xbox
-then i played the map and both the controll panel and the gate were there, and i went to the conroll panel and it said "press and hold x to activate gate" like it should, so i activated it but nothing happend it didnt open


Is there any other linking that has to be done to the gate and the controll panel to get it to work that i may have missed?

There are probably some string ID's you need to fix or some dependancys you are missing.

Well, to the looks of it, Foundation doesnt have a "Device Group" in the scenarios tag. I'm interested in this mod, but not good at adding stuff to maps. Somehow you would have to add the device group and then that would probably link the gate control to the house gate.

Ive already added a device group and linked the controll panel to the gate but still nothing happened, im thinking there's still something i havnt lonked but i cant figure it out

How the hell did you make the Device Group? I cant figure it out :(

Add this to your chunk adders plugin file under the scnr stuff and you'll be able to use the chunk adder to add chunks to device groups now

I get some gay error whenever I try adding the chunk or whatever to Device Group. Maybe you can make a PPF or something or a brief description of what all you did so I can help you out with trying to make the gates work.

try clicking the inject as new check box b4 you add it
