Importing the Blue Sentinel Beam

Importing the Blue Sentinel Beam

if you have played through the campaign they you will know that there are 2 sentinel beams, a blue one and a red one. I tried extracting the blue beam from 06_sentinelwall and i replaced the plasma pistol with the blue beam. but when i started the map it didnt show. It asked for the single_player_shared and i had it and it transfered successfully. What did I dont wrong?

btw im using coag if it makes any difference

Clear your cache... All you have to do is delete the contents of your x, y, and z partitions, and then go play. :)

You cant just drag and drop, there's usually values you need to change after you copy it from the map to your map before you can use it. If you dont care to edit numbers, you can just use the normal sentinal beam, swap the projectile from the red beam to the blue one, change the damage effects, and last but not least, extract the skin and load it over the original sentinal beams.
Back after more then a year away from the modding community.
