Unraring PPF files
I use HHHT to apply my PPF patches and I have been downloading patches already made into PPFs from a different site. I want to try out some here but I dont know how to change the .rar files to .ppf instead. Please tell me how, I'e gotta try out bansheewars. lol

WinRAR uses a far better compression algorithm than normal ZIP does. WinRAR also has extended features and options that are not available when creating a ZIP archive. WinRAR also supports extraction of MANY MANY MANY formats, whereas WinZIP [IIRC] (only supports itself and a few other well known formats like .cab and such).gryphon wrote:This looks like a good place to ask...
Why does everyone here use .rar files? I just don't get it. It's not a VERY common archive format. I mean, I had WinRAR before I ever came here, but it stumps lots of people. What's wrong with .zip?
