what do you mean buy they didnt have the offsets.
If your confused, then this is what you should do
Open up a .map file in Hex Workshop
Get the offset of what you want to change forom iron_forges offset list
In Hex Workshop, press crtl+g which brings up the "goto" window
place the offset in the text field
It will take you to the value of what you want to cahnge.
Replace that value with the value you want.
I think you were trying to change the value with the offset. You need to change the value

ok look
im sorry
but he didnt know what i was talking about
what i mean is when i open hex workshop it doesnt list all possible offsets so therefore it doesnt have the ones on the offsets list from iron forge so i cant use that one, but when i try winhex, it has all the diff. offsets, but it doesnt let me save the map because its a trial version, so i need a version that will have all the offsets and save a big file.
sorry bout the first thing dude

When working in Hex Workshop, the frame that contains offsets only shows the offset for the byte at the beginning of each line. All offsets are contained in a file, because they're just addresses, and it's impossible for them not to be there (unless they point beyond the end of the file). If you'll notice, when you change the width of the Hex Workshop window, the offsets shown will change because you made all the lines a different length. Don't try to scroll through to find your offsets, use the goto feature, and remember to set it to "hex". There's also an option to start at the beginning of the file or something like that which is really helpful. When you go to your offset, you'll more often than not land in the middle of a line, right where you need to be.
It seems to me like that's what you meant, and I've seen someone confused about this before. If this is not what you meant, please don't show any further stupidity by insulting me or anyone else here who tries to offer assistance. This is meant to be a community, and we don't need retarded monkeys getting in the way and wasting bandwidth. I'm not flaming you, just informing you.
Hope that all helped.

yah thats my prob, see, other hex editors show each and every diff. offset instead of the first byte, winhex is an example, however the only one i could find, was an evaluation version and didnt let me save files over 200 kb. but i did finally find one perfect, its an oldie, but it works. however when ran the mod, swap tanks with banshees, it lagged really bad(only in flying though), any ideas???
well, im really sorry for flaming that one dude, and i appreciate all the help... i wont ever do that again, i was just frustrated b/c hes the only one who responded after 24 hrs.
peace
