croch rocket.

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Post by [users]soccerbummer1104 »

some of you know this as the infamous green croch rocket in shelshocked w the rediculous nitrous. im not great w vehics so it look realy wierd unlessits in black. (for its to be low enough polle to be in halo its a little edge ) and yes please dont bi*** about it because it has no engine, i could have made 1 but that would have made halo lagg way to much. Yeah, I dunno what happened on the windscreen but it ain't good that's for sure. Tip: Listen to Katarn's advice. Another tip: Don't smooth too much. You overuse the smoothing tool, if you used it less you COULD do the engine without causing a framerate drop. Halo can take around 6000 polies.

Yeah, well I dunno how else you'de get such over-smoothed models...?

Try spending more time on them, so they look better.

try making a really detailed version not meant for any game you know of. Then lower the polygons and perhaps it will fit. Best to start out with your best and then lower it.

Sonictag made a great tiretread making tutorial, you can find it at his website thigny for DL. If you see this sonictag, post the link.
