I'm not too familiar with dot halo, but I believe it is similar to ADI. I did a search, and there isn't really anything at this web site on how to do this. Try Halomaps.com if you can't find it here.

1) Go to the proj tag.
2) Find the plasma grenade, and extract/save the meta
3) Find the magnum projectile and click inject meta find plasma proj(or what it was named)
4) Fix Encryption, or sign map, or checksum recalculator (whatever it is called in Dot Halo)
5) FTP and enjoy.

There is an easier way to get your gun to shoot plasma grenades, but it isn't as useful. (you go to the magnum look at dependancies, and swap with plasma grenade) This works well when you are shooting another bullet, but with the plasma grenade you need to adjust the projectile speed in the tag editor to make it shoot right. When you do that (as well as adjust the arc, or whatever) it also affects the plasma grenade that you throw. That is why I suggested the extract inject method.

I hope this is helpful. I always disliked it when people would give instructions like:

extract, inject over proj and resign.

Shooting a plasma nade was one of the first Mods that I ever did. Its really fun.

Yeah, the other guy basically has it, but you'll want to increase the projectile speed again after you inject. I believe the speed of a magnum bullet is usually 400.

wait wait wait. i did none of those things when i made celdation.

i didnt have to do any meta extract.

I just did a projectile swap and then changed the start/stop speeds for the plasma nades to the same as the magnum bullet.

I used ch2r. super easy.

Actually I would suggest injecting meta because then you dont mess with the original grenade meta.
Awaiting connection...

it didn't affect the nades at all the way I did it.
they still get thrown the same and react the same way, the only difference is when they get shot out of the magnum.

ch2r

go to magnum
look at dependencies list, find the proj (projectile tag) it will say magnum bullet. Double click it, scroll the list till you see plasma grenade, ok. Done

Then go the to projectile lists and find the plasma grenade, and change the speed to 400.

Like I said in my first post. You can easily swap them. BUT if you change the weight, arc, damage effect, force, bounce, explosion delay or any other thing (other than start speed and stop speed) it WILL affect how plasma grenades act. THAT is why I suggested the extract inject method. Trust me its better. It takes about 10 seconds longer.
