I was trying to un-mod my games and stuff for a clan tryout, so I tried replacing the modded maps, bitmap, and sound files with my backup copies. Well, my backups must've been screwed up because now I have no sound!! :(

So, anyone know whats wrong or how I can fix it? Or does anyone have the original sound/bitmap files?

All the original map files are in a .cab file on the Halo CD. Not sure which one that is, though. I'll have a look around and come back here.

There's a FilesCab directory on the Halo CD, containing six *.cab files. Each of them contains some of the .map files for the game, and they can be opened with Winzip. Just find the .cab file that contains the map(s) you need to replace and extract.

The files bitmaps.map and sounds.map are in Cab4.CAB and Cab5.CAB, respectively.
