hey can someone tell me (or send a link) on how to put ur model in halo (using HMT) after u make the model
also, wats tagging.....?


i dont like sounding like a newb, but i have to

Well, these kinds of models are'nt put in by HMT. They are put in by 3ds Max 6-7 or HEK. You can get HEK at www.halomaps.org, which is also where you get HaloCE. These programs are essential for putting this file into HaloCE.

i tried to dl htat before, when i had cable but i stopped to play halo
now i have 56k and i cant dl HEK, if only i decided to dl it before......ERRR!

whatd u say about 3dsMax ?

Well, you need 3dsMax to export it to a .JMS file, to compile it with tool.

ok u are PC player

these are not models for pc

they are for CE

all this tool and HEK stuff they are talking about is for making custom weapons for halo ce

there are 2 smgs ive made and by chance i bet the 1 in the post is higer than wither 1 of the 1s im about to post. the only differences is a lot of pollys and 1 has the hand grip at the front , one dosnt, and one has a more textured clip. the difference is 597 pollys. one smg is 2851 pollys and the other is 3447 pollys. here are pics and file Image Image Image

thank you james, you heard the amn moderators move it!!. but no these deffinatly arnt ripped. im still waitin on somebody to tag em fr me though. so i can get them in my map that im workin on. also if anybody out there can give me help im a complete noob to mapping and i need to know what needs to be on the map when i expote it and also how do i make waterfalls and do i add in water before or after i export th emap as a .jms then what do i do with the map after ive exported it .jms? anyways back on topic just aim me or pm me if you would like to either skin or tagg these for me or both thanks i would greatly appreciate it.

we have gotten the smg ingame in halo pc once but it had no skin and e were using a mac that has its own special program that lets it inject larger models.

u use HEK (halo editing kit) to get the models in CE, but if u do put models in ur map and release it, u better make sure the credit goes to someone, (bbfbadbrad) obviously

how do u use HEK? i dunno im a newb like u i dont have HEK! look at the tutorials scattered in the tutorial section for HEK

i wish these models were for PC ohh man that would be great...

o yea what do u use for tagging models :( if its using HEK, *waits to shoots some1 in the head, probably the next guy who posts*

Could you post these in 3ds format? They won't import in gmax for some reason.

I exported them all into a 3DS format. I couldnt get the origial SMG from the first dl to import right. But the SMG download that was posted latter in the thread has 3DS files in it so I didnt do that one. I also did the Magnum and Brute Shot as well.
