Ok I'm downloading that Halo 2 Movie Demo thing to see how the Battle Rifle thing works, speed, damage, and stuff. 37.1 download so it might take atleast 10 minutes.
BTW, I know you probably are, but make sure when you edit the Assault Rifle text you are filling the space with zeros for each word in hex.
(ex. When you edit text, the hex might look like: 1A A9 52 7B But it needs to be: 1A00 A900 5200 7B00)
Hmm. Ok, I saw movie. I like the end. Betcha can't stick it. Thn Mc's like your on. Well. Ok... This will be a challenge... After this I'm gonna try to get that grunt in BG again. Hehe. Funny. Yahaha! Then I throw a plasma on em.
Yes, I'm doing stuff like 4200 instead of 42. I did it for all the vehicles. Like Warthog to Ugly Thing and Ghost to Undead stuff. But I can't do Assault Rifle to Battle Rifle.
Hmm... so the rest of it works.... look, you can just skip the name if you want, we'll know if it's a BR.
BTW, if you want to get a better look at it, check out the screenshots and stuff on halo.bungie.net. The URL thing doesn't work with that URL for some reason, so just copy + paste it.
I think I fiqured it out. You can't delete other characters. Then how did that guy do Puma? Darn, if only Assault was one letter shorter... Anybody know how to decrease characters without getting an error?
could you guys tell me how to lower the clip size and rate of fire? I know this is out of the blue but its a popular topic with people who are smart talking in it so could You please taket the time to just give me the number to add to the meta offset for clip size and rate of fire?
When I do 2 spaces instead of 1 it thinks it's another weapon and cuts off rifle. This sux and I'm not doing the Battle Rifle till I fiqure out how to fix this!

Ok, here is what you do. Battle has one less letter than Assault. Therefore, you need to move "Rifle" over one byte, and add an empty byte at the end. Simple?
