well theres been some serious hard work done on the upcomming zelda online mod and the up most priority so far is to make this a totaly diferent game from halo, so diferent its gonna have its own installer and own game files other than just another .map file. theres also plans to create a new UI with a profile selector and user options seperate from halo's. it will load halos system ui since up to now no one will release information changing the current ui settings. im honered to have such talented people working allong with me and i must say we have some extremely impressive stuff going on here.

Bitter banana, the same person who gave us all that awsome Thirdperson hack for halo is working allong side me and creating one of the nicest and smoothest 3rd person cameras exclusively for this mod. as many people may know any good 3rd person game relies heavily on good camera controls. this camera has great functionaly infact i plugged in my gamepad and configured it to control link just like on the n64.

theres still heavy work being made on getting the new "Z Targeting" combat system and which will have its own dynamic camera functionaly called the "Battle Cam" these simple things will completely change the whole aspect of the game play to match up the n64.

in the past we all know that melee combat in halo sucked, that is why we are redesigning the combat system. Most projectile weapony in this mod will be usefull in a key strategy only to use your sword or other melee weapons, z targeting will make this more like a fighting game, u can block or evade attacks, z targeting will allow u to strafe circles around ur enemy in combat. u can use things like the deku nuts to temporarily stun your opponent leaving him vonerable to attack, most project weapons also stun enemies to keep them from escaping and allow u to reach close for melee combat. so as u can see there will b a whole new learning curve for adapting to this game.

Theres also been some more maps with work in progress, so far 3 more map bsps have been build which include goron city, zora's domain and desert collosus. Desert collosus is being designed by another great talent, captain24, he already gotten the map ingame and has some slight skinning adjustments yet to do b4 its complete.

also our new biped now has a shield on his back, although in the future he would b able to take it off and use it with the sword to block attacks. all this with completely new biped animations so u can roll, back flip side jump and etc...

im glad to have so far 2 dedicated members working hard on this project and together we are working to really shape up this project.
