Guerilla Question

!!I AM A TOATAL NOOB AT MODDING :shock: !! Whenever i use Guerilla i mess around with things (for example the rocket launcher(for Halo CE!!)) then i do save as rocketlauncher.weapon u get the point. But when i try to load the mod on Halo CE the rocket launcher stays the same :cry: What am i doing wrong??

Well, first of all Guerilla doesn't really edit things like that. Guerilla edits "tags". In order for you to notice any change in what you've done to the rocket launcher, you would have to pick a scenario (prolly only one you have on there would be tutorial.scenario) , place your changed rocket tag in the netgame equipment, save it. Then you would go into tool and compile the scenario into a usable format *.map. So it's quite different than HMT or HHT. While some of those simple changes you are talking about can be done quicker other ways, this is the best way to do it. Then once you create a map , you can use any tagset thats available to add different weapons, vehicles, and even characters. Have fun and don't get bummed out by the complexity of the HEK.
