how do you use this map. i am new and dont know how to work most mods but i unzipped it into my MAPS folder in the halo directory but cant play it in halo so how do i do it?

It's for halo custom edition.. you download that and its separate from Halo PC, but you need HPC installed to intall HCE

You sure you have Halo CE?

(btw, CE stands for Custom Edition, not Combat Evolved.)
