Looks like it's coming along nice! Forgive me for not replying in a while, I lose interest in a thread when the pics stop and the actual Tagging begins. That is usually when the thread turns into mindless banter turning in page and pages of chat... Like yoyorast Isle ofr example. Not that I hate it, but I find it annoying to have 50 pages of chat. Somewhere around that number.
I find the terrain on your map rather boring. Just tonight I found an awesome way to create truly perfect terrain. What you do Is convert to PATCH. And use the handles to move the terrain around. If you move one up, it will tesselate, and manipulate itself to literrally BEND to your will. Katan says he doesn't know how to use Patch.
I figured out Patch and Nurbs today.
I also found a unique thing in max called panaramic exporter or something, that takes a picture of your model, then allows you to view it in a viewer, while moving the camera around in the pic! Like a hologram!
The handle manipulation technique is awesome, you can create such awesome terrain with it! Same for NURBS. Oh and I found a BRIDGE tool in Poly! I've been looking for this type of tool in max for a while. It creates a tunnel between two poly's if you use it.
Just like to share my knownledge...
