Well this isnt the "patch" that CE players have wet dreams about...this is just a hotfix.

ummm wtf.. ok i wasnt gonna dl it till it was made manditory and i went to play ce and it said i had to update yay now every one gets patch right and community isnt split.... but umm first problem wouldnt auto download i had to go and personally download the patch from gearbox... I installed it no problem Now i cant play halo ce AT ALL i can get to the main menu and acess all the menus and all that crap but i cant play it... (YES I DO HAVE A CD) I just kant play it... I go to play a game in lan it says unable to join game then online when i try to refresh the servers i get this screen...

Do you have a firewall? If you do, it might not let it through because it was modified.

yea, it does that with McAfee. you have to minimize the game and set the firewall settings to let it thru while its tryin to do that

yeh i fixed it usually my fire wall is programmed to msg me and ask if it should be alloud through the connection but i was experimenting with ending extra processes earlier on my pc that arnt needed that are taking up my procesing speed or w/e.. i acidentally ended the thing that asks me weather or not to let it through lol..

Heres what i did
1) Downloaded.
2) Installed to my game with all 325 maps working well.
3) Nobody was on empty and no had this thing.
4) Uninstalled.
5) Instaled Halo CE again.
6) Had to install all 325 maps 1 BY 1. (took a long time by the way.).
7) Ahhhhhh thats better more servers.

Played all night.
9) Same as step 8.
10) Same as step 8 and 9.[/u][/i][/b]

you could have avaided all of the dl ing of maps by coping them to a diferent folderreinstalling then put the maps back
