when i do it, it doesn't even pust the folder in my halo directory

Did you set the mode properly with the shortcut?

Right click on the halo shortcut and make sure it says whats underneath in the box, only thing in quotes should be the path to the halo executable, then a space, and the following, -screenshot. No spaces between - and screenshot...screenshot being 1 word as written here lol, so the entire thing is:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -screenshot

exactly like above ...

Mine created the screenshot folder...so yours should too unless u made a mistake on the shortcut.

Then there must be something wrong with your computer or something, because it works fine for me, and most people.

Unless u typed it in wrong key, or have shortcut somewhere else than desktop, but I can't see how that would cause anything...

(If you can't see pictures then its bcoz my pc is offline, cos I'm hostin them from home...

First of all, im soooo happy i can take screen shots, the other nite i had a perfect game 50 kills and no deaths on 10 player longest! and no proof or bragging rights to speak of, cause it was just me and my walls that know! it saves it in the screen shots dir of halo, but its in .TGA format! how do i go about opening this? Anyhelp would be great! see you all online!

Having done a little research, because I myself couldn't open them, I am pretty sure the information points to photoshop or paint shop pro to open these files, I shall test this...and get back to you.

[edit] Yep, photoshop reads tga files

PUT -SCREENSHOT IN YOUR HALO PROPERTIES

this will make a folder called screenshot in your Halo Folder

EVERY TIME you press PRTScr it will save the screenshot in that folder...normally c:\Program Files\microsoft games\Halo\Screenshots
