YOYORAST ISLAND: Potentialy, the best map ever made but...

Now the idea with the rotating teleporters sounds interesting... Just find what would allow you to make it rotate, and bam, you're all set... You just need an example...

After more than one entire week of work (night and day!) I've finished the modifications and new stuff... so the new model is here and now in the hands of God.. hm. wait no.. of Ghost!.. TheGhost!

The main new things are:
-General correction to have all cleaner, symetric, and better designed..
-2 New plattforms for turrets.
-2 new ladders
-3 new corridors
-New system of scoring funnier with 4 more teleporters
-A new ramp/base specialy designed for ATV (Thanks to Killa, his ATV might find a place in the map)
-The big tube has now a part made of glass.. so you can see the hogs throught it when you find yourself under the tube.
...

Hopefully TheGhost will have a new build ready soon.. so get ready Betatesters! The others, keep a little more patient, we're getting closer to the end than ever... (this is logic.. lol)

O, bye the way, For those that don't know it yet, there is now a Website about this project, don't hesitate to visit, sign in and use the exclusive chatbox lol... we have lot of fun there... also,for those who want to see the entire evolution of the model through the time or for the nostalgics, there is a History/Renders section with almost all my past renders... and there's also an ingame pics section! Enjoy!

new teleporter idea

have a teleporter that puts you in a tunnel thats straight down
in the tunnel there are things that push you so you hit the ground diffrently
and you make a checker board pattern of teleporters on the ground half equal one place half equal another
And remember people!
this place should have no affect on the other forum!

Yeah thks tack , we thought about this option but I've now forgotten the idea of random teleporters... so peole now can chose their way by going in one or the other teleporter... less exciting but its now done , and it works so that's it. Thks

Well I have decided to update you on what's going on with the map and all. The map is NEARLY complete! It just needs some minor tweaks and all (unless something major is found) and it will be set. I have tested the newest beta and have to say the map is really shapping up and is really something :)
There is also a plan for a special room which I will not talk about any more because I want ghost to get it in there :p
All or most of the unwanted shortcuts have been found or fixed so we won't have any cheaters.
Also I decided to post some comments on what to expect on some secrets ghost has for ya. They are VERY hard to find and you have to look hard because ghost is a master at hiding stuff. Infact, only one beta tester (I believe) has found a secret! So be prepared to do a lot of searching if you want to find them :p

Hmm, killa had an atv in his coagulation beta too. It looked, cosmetically, rather good, but the physics on it caused it to roll over every time it turned, are they fixed on this one?

theres no way to rip the atv... it was never completed theres not even a model ingame

Honestly, I always thought the ATV from Killa (the one I'm using) wasn't ripped (and I still believe this, am I wrong?). I always paid attention to have the map free of ripped stuff... for example, I could have used ripped H2 turrets but i didn't wanted and Thanks to him, Nitrousoxide from Halo2 team just accepted to offer its turrets.

the atv is NOT ripped and is all custom
and thank god you're using Nitrous' turrets..... Ghost's turrets were crap :wink:

noo the atv doesnt have a model in the final halo 2 game released so hey could not have ripped it from halo 2

it's not hard getting a ripped h2 atv model. btw, it's the mongoose, and yes it does exist. getting a ripped mongoose isn't that hard...
