Photoshop DDS ProBlem "POWER OF 2"

I Keep Getting this message saying "image height and width are not the power of 2" ever time I try to save a certain type of dds for example the multiplayer map pics on the map menu . im trying to change that pic to one that suits the map most of my modded ones are blank i also found a plugin on this forum that doesnt work but is supposed to fix that
if anybody has any info please help

i was messin around with photoshop and saving the picture for the mainmenu and i noticed that the error also stated that it must be in image mode. well, when you go to choose the format (dxt5, etc.) there is an option on the lower right hand side that says "image mode (no mipmaps...)". all you have to do is click the "no mip maps" option on the left hand side (under mip maps). this will let you save it even if it is not a power of 2. just tried it to make sure, and it does work. you may want to mess with it a bit to make it look just right, but it works. btw, use argb format when saving it.
