Ok this was my first attempt at an ingame biped and what a success it has been. They all told me it was to hard to b done, they all told me it would take too long to finish, now they dont believe its accually ingame, heres proof. right now its 95% rigged and ingame and i only been working on it for only 2 days now. Best of all this is my own model i built, this model was not ripped from from halo 2, y? because the halo 2 model is over 3000 polys (laggy gameplay) and since it copyrighted, i can never legaly publicaly release this map. This model has about 1700 polys. This model is gonna be an exclusive in H2-Prime so dont ask for the tags. Anywas special thanks to taimat for some helpful hints on rigging and biped mapping with out it i could have never done this. Expect to see more original halo 2 content upcomming in this map. Also expect a public release of this map in the near future.
having 3000 polies isn't going to lag gameplay at all. The original halo spartan has ~2200. The half-life 2 characters (each one) have about 5000. People are really too conservative about polycount sometimes....as long as you keep p and w models low, it shouldn't have a problem.

I really see alot of difference between the origional mc and yours. Some how it seams a bit too skinny, and the model does not look right, but overall it's prety good.
yup i seen that too, the lack of bump maps really makes it look thinner. nuthing i can do about that since the halo ce engine does not support bump maps on objects, only bsp.
yeah i fixed the hand glitch, b4 he holded the assualt rifle pointing towards his head and so on for all the other weps, turns out i had the markers badly placed so i transfered the data from the old mc. now hes not suicidal n e more. thanks for pointing out that error
