Well, i have to state that all milkshape models will look like crap. Get gmax (free) or preferably 3ds max (not free). Then, follow my gun modeling for dummies sticky. I will probably update that now.

Or a 3ds max 7/6 trial

But yeah, gmax is ALWAYS free, so no worries about that.

But yeah, get another modeling program and your Models will look better.

katarn not all ms3d models look like crap i made some pretty good ones.
all this one needs is a better skin. good job other wise.

Some people are really good with ms3d. Your gun looks OK, learn to unwrap with ms3d.

it's flat and looks like it got mangled by a tank...

and you should consider yourself lucky that Katarn didn't do his usual round of criticism with this. i say it looks like flat poo shaped like a gun. and the bullet...uh...

Nothing can beat that poo gun in the files forums made with blender, ah hahaha. But yeah, considering you used ms3d, you could still do some things to improve it, read a tutorial by someone called psionic design, infact heres the link:
