how do i make a new gun without 3dsmax my friend did it with hmt witch was awsum but i dont no how can u guys help

to make a new gun for PC version extract the .onj from hmt and edit it in milkshape and then impot it back as an obj to the weapon

Unless you mean weapon swapping, there isn't a way to make a gun without another program.

No, I think he means just editing an existing weapon model.

Just get Milkshape 3D, import the .obj file for that gun (after exporting from HMT), move around a few vertices etc. but don't add or delete anything or Halo will crash. Export the finished gun as .obj and import it back into HMT over the original, then fire up Halo to test it.
