Ok sweet, im having second thoughts about this "boathog" (which i havnt done yet), as it wont really fit with this ancient thing.. Perhaps a big wooden boat would be more appropriate?
I have that kinda thing in mind, but looking older and having wood and no paint.
I just was trying to make modeling the boat easy for us, but that would be hella sweet, I would work on the boat, but right now im making skins, so the weapons have a more jungle feel to them, and the guy, interesting way of making the map, if you could vary the levels (hieghts) of the map that would be much cooler, I know its a first model and all, but I just wanted to say that.
try some untextured renders, because seeing it with that textures gives some pieces an illusion of being flat or slanted. So you have to look hard at some places to see what it relaly looks like.
Well I know the reticle would be a bitmap somewhere, I don't know how you got the reticle for the halo 2 sword up, but I would have to say something to do with the bitmaps for the sword... don't know but im finishing up right now.
yeah well it's not gonna be simple I've heard that you have to do it by hex editing like you know fonts are made by little black dots in a grid well you have to edit this with a hex editor from what I've heard.
gah, sounds not fun... if any one knows how to put in reticles, that would be kindly assepted ? Alright, well ill try to see if snaf can work off of the topograph map.
