is it decompressed/a cache file?

I don't know if it's a compressed file. I get the message with all user-created files and all the maps that come with Halo CE. The only maps I can open are the original maps for the original Halo.

i have the same problem, and i couldnt find anything in the forum on this, unless i missed it.

i tried downloading it two times and it didnt work the second time

if u cant open the maps.. u want to go to open>local C: > program files > Microsoft games > Halo > then Maps

i think it is either microsoft games, microsoft or Halo, but yeah that is wat u do to open the maps

Ok, ive downloaded it, but didnt click dave, i clicked open, after that, what do i do? An icon appears on my desktop, and has the E sigh nor internet, what do i do? help!

just redownload but this time save it to like your desktop then unzip it next go into the folder called HMT.v3.5 and lanch the HaloMapTools.exe program.
btw you need win rar to unzip it http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

One of my webcrawlers came back with a live link to the fixed HMT on a
uni FTP site in Finland. (The original link in this thread is dead.)

The program was on a university site in finland. It is the normal
fixed HMT, its not in finnish or norwegian.
