when i used hmt something happened HELP

hey i was looking at a topic about making the sniper rifle have 100 shots using HMT and i did all it says but when i played the map that i did it on halo crashes and then it says gathering exception data and then my computer freezes so i have to reboot it

Halo can't necessarily handle that much input, try increasing the amount of clips and only input about 10-20 extra shots (i usually only use 6 total) or else Halo will shut down and gather exceptions (it can't handle that much input from HMT).

ya it can... you can give the sniper 9999 shots, but thats the max

9999 is infinite not 9999

Then you need to go back and check what you did, as I typed this walk-
through live while running HMT on the secondary monitor, and then
double checked by running the map before submitting the posting.
Its about as basic as it gets and does not involve anything capable of
shutting you machine down.
