Great im stuck again....I know im a noob but what do I have to right click? Which left veiwport?

Thats how far I am and I cant figure out where to right click!

I dont know where to right click?!?4. Right-click on the left viewport name and click "smooth with highlights". The reference picture should appear in the left viewport.

Yet another person to give up. It takes alot of patience to learn how to model.. And you can just press f4 in the viewport to make it smooth and hilights.
And start with an easy easy gun, then get harder and more detailed, and if you think of it as spending say 10 minuites on the barrel details, spending 20 minuites getting the handle correct then you should be able to do it with less frustration.
