The problem is, I don't picture much scenery, if any. This is going to be a space map, the only outdoor scenery you will see, should be stars, perhaps a planet near by. Floating asteroids would be cool, but that's if we have poly's to spare. I could use a few cargo boxes for the Falcon, I haven't started the launch bay for the StarDestroyer yet, so who knows what I will need in there, I wouldn't think much. I haven't decided if we are going to have starwars themed weapons.

Is this the same mod I heard about, like WWAAAAYYY back in january 04? When I first came here some guy said he was making a starwars mod or something... those were the 'dark ages' before the mysterious and mystical sparkedit came out, and Halo CE and HEK were still a myth, :d.
Good bye. So long. I hope we never meet again. F u halomods.com

Good Question.
I'm not trying to reinvent battlefront, I want to make a Halo Game built around starwars. I was shooting for just a space themed Halo gametype where you could enter the vehicles and intense spacebattles. I choose StarWars because Halo CE is almost as good as dead, and the StarWars community is huge, could attract more people to CE. Attracting people to CE is my main goal.

I finaly registered on the forums. I've been shadowing forever reading posts. Anyways I saw this and it sparked my intrest. I current;y model for another star Wars mod for another game but you are welcome to use my models. I would just need to fix up the unwraps some.
Here some of my example models: Two of these have already been textured , The polygon counts are all consistent with the Renegade game engine. They are between 1600 polygons and 3000 polygons.
Millenium Falcon (2509 Polygons) :

YT-2400 (Outrider from the Mini sequal Shadows of the Empire) 2041 Polygons:

Rebel X-wing 2438 Polygons:

Biker Scout Pistol: (1412 Polygons) I also have one that is only 860 polygons. When modeling it my team leader wanted it to have more model to it. Mainly because of some asshole on another forum bitching about them not being modeled.

Rebel Electrobinoculars: (706 Polygons) I also have an unfinished imperial Pair aswell.

Rebel A296 Blastech Assault rifle: (1546 polygons)

The only models which are not unwrapped are the Binoculars and the YT-2400. Our texture artist has been busy so I put off unwrapping the binoculars and i only finished the YT-2400 a few days ago and haven't gotten around to unwrapping it.
I really don't know the polygon limit for the Halo game engine but I'm pretty sure it is higher than the Renegade engine.

asteroids wouldn't be hard at all to do. and those models are great, exdeath7! and the poly count is great as well. Halo's engine would be pretty accepting of those models. i would play this map readily. i hope this works out. the bases would have to be floating stations, but those too would be easy to model. just model the bases, and the asteroids, and make a huge box for it all to go in, and that would be near done lol. this could be done quickly if Exdeath7's models were used!
SnaF
SnaF

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D
