you could just buy 3ds max. If you get a student liscence, it is MUCH cheaper. I don't know the exact price, but I know Pie has a student liscence. He'll probably see this topic and can tell u a price. All I know is that you have to get ur principal to sign a paper though, too.

The Gearbox made 'Blitzkrieg' exporter was never designed to work with Gmax. You'll need to get the 'Chimp' exporter, which was made by someone in the HaloCE community.

ya chimp always has dumb errors. You can export a map with chimp and get a ton of errors, and the export the same map with blitz and get no errors. If you wanna model, get 3ds max with:

~commercial lisence
~student liscence
~don't steal it

waverunner, don't think about it as stealing it. If you had to pay for it, would you? If i had to pay loads of money for it, i wouldn't buy it in the first place. Therefore, pirating 3dsmax, because it is so expensive, is actually promoting the product. What you can create could turn a potential customer into a buying client.

The person whom would really buy it (pie, etc.) would actually buy it, for legitimate reasons. I wouldn't tell anybody HOW to pirate it.
